Guard Dog level IV body armor
The plates are nice! Fit in my carrier no problem with the thickness of the plate. Cut 12lbs off my carrier with these. At 5.7 lbs per plate they are definitely all day plates…Thanks to OpticsPlanet.com for having such a great price and great shipping in such a great product!

I own steel plates but they are heavy. I wanted to shave some weight so I watched a ton of videos on this plate. Since it's cheap. A few friends and I cheaped in to buy one to test. Disappointed. It took 2 regular rounds of 556 no problem but the 3rd and 4th which where green tip went right through....

quality plates, good weight
I’ve ran around with these in my pc for a while now, they feel slightly lighter then the plates I was issued in the army, hold in the pc real tight and firm, didn’t take to long for them to be delivered and transit appeared easy on the package. Already recommended them to my friends and family, if you’re still unsure you can find videos on YT of these taking several rounds of 5.56, 7.62x39, 7.62x51 and even black tip 30-06 with no penetration.

These plates are pretty nice for the price and they’re honestly a little lighter than most ceramic plates. They feel sturdy and strong. I’m very pleased with this purchase

Quality Ballistic Plate at a good price!
I have purchased a couple of sets of the Guard Dog Level VI ballistic plates for my plate carrier and a tactical vest. They are lightweight and relatively thin for Level VI plates. They fit perfectly in both rigs, with just enough room to spare in my plate carrier to fit a soft plate or a trama plate, although it’s a tight fit and might not work in other carriers. The price was better than I could find after checking out several different brands and several different sellers. You can get cheaper plates, but they are usually steel and much heavier, not to mention not always including an anti-spall backing.Optics Planet always ships “in stock” merchandise quickly and it has always arrived in top condition. I’ve never had a “real world” test with these ballistic plates, and hopefully it will stay that way, but I feel better having them.

What can I say without shooting it?
Not heavy, not exactly light. Ships well packaged. Fit perfectly in standard 10x12 carrier slot. Piece of mind for when it all falls apart and youre betting enough rando's have .308.

When I first ordered these I did not know what to expect. When I got them I was as immediately impressed with how solid they are. I am hoping that I never have to see how they will withstand a bullet strike, but I have full confidence in them.

Great plates! Great price!
I watched a video on these and they took everything thrown at them and didn't let the projectile thru. It was hit with 9mm, 7.62x39. 30.06, 5.56x45 green-tip and .308, and no projectiles made it thru, it was damaged and junk when they were thru but if you were wearing it, you would still be alive and that is what counts.
Both plates i my carrier weigh under twelve pounds, and the curve fits my small frame nicely, well worth the price for a level 4 plate, money well spent.
