Dumb me, closed the door with the key inside after a cursory inspection with No battery installed yet.
Solution, order key from company. Great, and free. Lots of supportive talk from tech service. But that was in January again in March and still waiting. Worried my $ are wasted and worse my gun is not in a safe. Hard to shake the feeling of being run around the barn. Here's hoping things will get straightened out. Will let you know.
