Having been a LEO for over 25 year. I very much like these stainless steel bore brushes as they are the most durable and very effective at clearing foreign substance. A clean barrel is an accurate barrel.

Good for a steel brush
So I didn't realize this was stainless steel when I ordered it. I'm a bit hesitant to use it since it theoretically could scratch my barrel. I ran it through once and it did a great job of loosening the carbon and it cleaned up nicely. It will hold patches and not tear them up, which is nice. I may use it like that for cleaning copper fowling in the future. That seems like it's best purpose.
