I didn't want to pay gun store prices on a cleaning kit and did some research online. I came across Optics Planet and found the Gunslick cleaning kit which seemed to have mostly everything I needed. All I purchased in addition was a nylon cleaning brush. You may want to purchase some additional cotton patches as well. The oil and solvent appear to be quality and have served me well. The brush and rod also are nice and sturdy. I wish that the solvent had a spray nozzle rather than having to dampen a cotton patch or q-tip. I feel that I waste a lot more of the solvent that way, but I can alwa...

bought this for my sons to use and was a little upset to see come with no cleaning brushes or mops but other than that it is a great kit and brushes and mops can be bought for it so that's a plus
Pros: very cheap price great working solvent and oil
Cons: no brushes or cleaning mops

has everything you need to get started with gun cleaning. There are other things you might use with this kit but you need all in the kit to start.

Cleaning kit

This was for a friend who never cleaned a gun. It has everything they need to get started. If you get this I would recommend getting extra patches right off. A good kit for the price all other things considered.
Pros: Comes with everything you need to get started
Cons: not very many patches, could include a brush
