Most Helpful Negative Review Guntec AR10 handguard

It’s a good handguard. Pretty solid only complaints is the screws that come with it strip really easy and if you are using this on an aero precision upper the rails won’t line up. The aero precision upper sits a little higher then the handguard.

Horrible fitment and cheap quality

Had very high expectations of this product and was very excited. Upon install I had 3 out of 6 mounting screws stripped or even when right with red lock tight sheared from the rifle in the first 3 shots. Horrible alignment close to 3 quarters left on gun.

Came a describe, ultra light weight and easy to install. My only negative is that it didn’t come with a wrench, which is why I didn’t give a five star. Other than that it’s a good hand guard for the price.

AR10 Build

A 308 AR10 forearm in 9” or less for this price is extremely hard to find. Many hours on internet searching and the problem with that is not being able to hold a pre-measure before purchase. Building an AR10 is no joke as many professional gunsmiths have commented about, “it’s usually cheaper to buy than build if your doing it to save money,” I took a chance on this particular forearm, my third attempt, and worked great, not perfectly to my expectations of my build but good enough. I highly recommend for price and quality.

Missing a screw

Came in the mail quickly but is missing a screw so now I have to try to find one also has missing paint and scratches down into the metal enough to cause a but it did not come from shipping because the box was in perfect condition and it was also bubble wrapped the barrel but is very cheaply made also don’t waste your money on this

Nothing but trouble

I have had this hand guard for about 3 weeks and it has gave me nothing but trouble and wasted time. the bolts they send u do hold the hand guard on with will strip with not problem. They barrel nut they send is the only thing that work but even then it hard to put the hand guard on. Do not buy this save your money for a better one.

Good quality product, excellent price. Compares to more expense brands. Easy installation. Fits DPMS AR10 upper with .150 rail height. Completely as advertisesd. Nice flat black finish. Barrel nut included, requires special wrench to properly touché nut, wrench less than $20
