Nice faux suppressor..
I bought this faux suppressor to use on my AR pistol until my ATF approval comes through for the real one. I didn't feel like waiting another 6 to 10 months to test-fire my latest build. The suppressor has a nice weight to it and fits nicely inside my handguard to give me the look I was seeking.

When the real thing just won't do
I came across a SIG Canebrake Rattler for a decent price because it was missing the original fake suppressor. This fills the bill perfectly.

look badass
The fake suppressor give my 300 black out a badass look. Also it extend the barrel out a bit. More accuraty

Looks very real and fits numerous setups. Highly recommend to anyone thinking of buying one.
Let me start off by stating it did take a while to arrive but in fairness I was aware of that before pulling the trigger. It arrived just as described and pictured on the web. Fits numerous setups such as my Glock 19 Killer Innovations threaded barrel. Also fits my SIG M400-Elite Ti AR platform as well as my ZEV tech Glock 17 setup. The anodized blue color really pops and actually matches my Strike Industries aftermarket parts on my AR. Would buy an another one tomorrow.

Bad threads
This got one star because it wouldn't thead onto my barrel. The threads appeared to be bad. I just sent it back for a replacement, I'll update once a receive a replacement...it may just be bad luck that i got a faulty one. Yes, i ordered the correct thread pitch, 1/2x28. Tested other 1/2x28 muzzle brakes and they fit perfectly.

Guntec 5.5in Fake Suppressor
I needed to take a 10.5 inch AR pistol barrel, 300 AAC, to 16" so I could replace the pistol brace with a standard AR buttstock. This did the trick, no issues. Fit inside my standard handguard since this is not 1.5" diameter like a real suppressor. I added a washer so the writing would be level, reads to the right side.

As Advertised
Bought this as a place holder for an eventual suppressor due to having a handguard that extends farther then a standard muzzle device. Great fit and finish, my only complaint is the writing is upside down when installed, not sure why they designed it that way.

Fake Suppressor
Fake suppressor serves no actual functionality but is a great way to spruce up the "look" of your firearm. Threads on easily and I have not had any issues with it. The order did NOT come with a crush washer, so keep that in mind if you prefer one for your install. Happy shooting!

Fake suppressor MP40 9X
The fake suppressor is a well made chunk of solid aluminum machined out nicely with an excellent finish and quality. It looks cool. I’m going to be using it as a barrel extension with a thread adapter to make a pistol length barrel into a Carbine length barrel as well with drilling, pining, safety wiring and Locktite with baking soda wielding it all together to make it legal as well as after the fake suppressor is all in place, drilling, pinning, and safety wiring an under folding stock in place to to where it is solid and non folding to make sure that an ATI new semi auto German made MP40 9X is more than legal and able to be registered as Carbine length rifle. Just to have something different than everyone else in a new legal semi auto version of a WWII German classic, kinda.

Adds a cool factor !
Bought this Guntec fake suppressor for two reasons. First reason is i wanted to extend barrel length on a SBR. Second reason is I read in a review that this muzzle device may aid in flasphand possibly send some bang down range.. We shall see. Anyway it looks good and nice fit and finish.
