Liked it so much I bought a second one. First one was 9" with 9" barrel, this one is 15" with 20" barrel. Both look good. If you need a lot of attachments, might not be for you with 3 mlok slots at 9,6, and 3 o'clock. If you are looking for lightweight and open for heat dissipation then this is a good choice. Fde is a little off from Magpul, but I rattlecan everything so it'll match the bipod eventually

Looks cool but

I bought this for a build i was doing for my wife. It would have been nice had they shipped a barrel nut adapter or something to tighten the barrel nut like Midwest Industries or some of the other companies do. It was a pain to tighten the barrel nut.

Nice hand guard

Received hand guard and was happy. Looked good and it came with all the hardware to do the install. I am doing a colorful build this time and this will get the job done. Optics Planet has not net me down.

Lightweight and solid. Barrel nut is machined for an adjustable wrench

Barrel nut didn't use the standard ar tool, had to use an adjustable crescent wrench. Otherwise, plenty of spots to attach the rail and low diameter make indexing easy. Not an octagon shape, more of a squared off cylinder. Mounted to a billet upper but I think it would look perfect on a forged upper. I got the nine inch for a nine inch barrel, fits perfectly with a 2 chamber muzzle brake. Might look even better with a 10.5
