I was misled into thinking an AR-15 buffer piston would work in an AR-10 build. It does not, it’s too long and the bolt hold open will not function because of this. Also I would imagine it could cause ejection & cycling problems but I didn’t try firing the weapon when I noticed the error. This is the correct length (shorter) buffer for an AR-10 build with a rifle stock. Seems to be great quality.
