This mat is long enough for an AR but is a bit thin. Still adequate with a soft rubber backing that easily rolls up to go in a range bag. It does take on a curl and took awhile to lay flat on my bench. I bought it on sale and was satisfied at that price.
Pros:
- Not bulky if you want to pack it
- Long AR size mat
Cons:
- Curls and takes awhile to lay flat
Best Used for:
- Rifle length bench pad
