Guntec does make and sell American made products. Unfortunately this item isn't. I "assUme" the higher price implied that. Thought about returning it.
The quality is impressive considering. For the few dollars more I can recommend and say the brass catcher satisfies my needs, mainly because it fits over the brass deflector,a huge plus.I haven't collected more than 20rds.at time in it,while practicing "on the move off-hand shots",it worked as intended. Takes the choir out of collecting the brass for reloading after this session, my reason for the purchase. Couldn't say if the less expensive items will compare as well.
Gave it 5 stars, does what's advertised.
Other than the tag saying otherwise,which I removed,you'd "ASSUME", it was made in USA
