Buffer Tube
I have used many Guntec parts over the years and have been happy with them all. This buffer tube is no exception. The stud on the end the end plate that fits into the nut could be a tighter fit and can cause the tube, and hence the stock, to be a little off center. The fit just isn't tight enough, but I have found this to be the norm with inexpensive tube kits. You just have to pay attention. Otherwise it works as intended for a reasonable price.
Quality control??
The spring, end plate and buffer was ok. The buffer tube was really rough on the inside. Upon troubleshooting why it felt and sounded like sandpaper when racking the bolt (Nickle-Boron coated bolt) I noticed that the inside of the buffer tube was rough and textured almost like a bad cast. This oversight by Guntec makes me curious about the strength of the buffer tube as well. Now I am looking for another.

Good product
Good commercial spec buffer at a great price. No complaints with the quality. Threaded on my milspec stripped lower with no issues. The only negative was shipping being delayed...not a huge deal given free shipping.
