Plan ahead - good pin set

The grip surface is big enough to be effective and yet not intrusive. But plan ahead and have there ready before you build your lower because undoing your castle nut isn’t the most fun thing ever. Also, their pin set does not include detents or springs, so you’ll still need the ones that came in your lower parts kit.

Ha,Ha this has gotta be a no brainer review. If you don't have extended take down pins, either you are a purist and can't stand any mods or you haven't tried them yet.
Make it so. Okay Picard shutup! Try pulling out your pins when you have gloves on and then come back and buy these!

Great quality, value and a perfect fit to my Ruger. Not too obtrusive but just right for an easy pull when situation requires it. I have an injury to my thump joint which makes it difficult to work other takedown pins. This was a perfect solution. I would recommend this product.

Better than spec

They fit really snug. Which is good. Still have to push from the other side to start them coming out, but so much easier than standard pins. I saw some with pull rings attached, but those didn't seem very tactical with jingling rings.
