Most Helpful Positive Review Guntec AR15 gas block
Looked good easy installation. Functions just like it should. It took about thirty to forty five minutes to remove the old A2 gas block and install the new one. Now I am able to mount optics on my rifle. I went with the clamp on style gas block because I thought it would be easier to install.

cycle issues and cheap set screws

My dads eyes are not good and couldn't use the iron sights like he was used to in the army on his ruger 556 he bought. So i bought this to replace the A2 sight gas block so he could mount a scope.

We installed and lined up this gas block and it would cycle inconsistently, we removed it and cleaned the gas ports but it appeared to not completely fit over the barrels gas port.

We put it back on and tightened the set screws and both heads twisted right off with very little torque, now im looking for another reliable gas block so he has a functional rifle.

Affordable and good.

Dropped in quick and easy. Works good. Much cheaper than similar items that do the same thing. If you need a gas block at the same height as your top rail (as they should be) this is the one to get.

It was nice to look at and it look good on the gun. But it took a long time to get it and it just didn't work good on the gun

Looks great, works great

It is definitely a gas block! I put this on my dissipator AR and it works really well. I fired 100 rnds and there were no failures. Very pleased and definitely recommend if you want a railed gas block that isn't expensive. It is shorter than most so be mindful if you have a handguard without a full top rail and use the top rail.
