My parts kit fits in my grip The shim is a spacer to correctly orient certain muzzle devices to their correct position on the barrel. If you order a muzzle device, spend the minuscule extra to get these shims. You don’t want to get your device on to find out you need a shim and then have to order and wait for them to come. If course, you could have a gunsmith do this really easy job. Knocked off one star for not having rifle finish. Some high temp paint and the wife’s oven will match up nicely.
