very nice product, slips over barrel and threads on. does not add length to barrel. i left the crush washer on which allows barrel to flush up with the end of suppressor. remove the a2 flash hider, thread on this baby and shortens overall length of rifle by 1.75". no real function, just looks cool. ...

Most Helpful Negative Review Thread pattern is 1/2x36
Thread pattern not notate in 9mm version so do not assume it is the same. Overall constructio good but optics planet needs to do a better job of disclosing differences between models if there are any.

Leaves tip of barrel exposed

I love the look of this product, however, I was disappointed on how exposed this leaves the end of the barrel. It's flushed with the barrel but if you drop it the wrong way, you have the potential of damaging the head of the barrel. Also, this thing offers absolutely no compensation. After inspecting this product on my barrel, I realize that you will feel the absolute recoil of any round that you fire considering that there is nothing to compensate at the end of the barrel.

Great cosmetic accessory

This is really a nice and neat little accessory for AR type weapons. Actually, it could fit on anything with the proper thread. The only problem is that it may not fit on an AR type pistol with a barrel that is too short. The tube has got a constant inside diameter, and if the barrel has got steps in it as to sizes up or down, it may not work if the barrel is too short.

Fit and finish are great. Looks good and adds a little forward weight for balance. For those wondering about the reverse thread, yes, it screws right on a standard 5/8 x 24 barrel.
