Most Helpful Negative Review Very Disappointed
In general, it is a nice upper, except for one major flaw. The spacing on the rail is non standard so any red dot or scope mount with two or more cross bolts will not fit. Severely limits what you can mount to this upper.

Very beefy upper. Will not work with handguards that overlap the sides of the upper.

Very beefy upper. It is so beefy that it is larger than the mil-spec buffer tube mount. Unfortunately, it is not milled to accept handguards that overlap the sides of the upper. The outside of the handguard I tried to install, was flush with the upper. Fits tight to lower.

I was a little skeptical at first but this thing fits great. Hardly any gap in the lower and upper. Everything went together very easy. I recommended to a friend and he is in the process of building his.

Gunter ar9 upper receiver

Very nice piece, heavy duty as well, Gunter USA is an underrated company, all the receivers Ivw got by them fit tight with 80%lowers,, no fitment issues, just as good of quality as many 2-3x like expensive brands parts, and I have a decent collection of high end custom rifles, I've bought allot of various high end parts, and I would buy these guy's parts any day. You can build high quality rifleswith guntec USA components, at a great price, well worth it

Cons:
  • None really, maybe would've been nice to get this ar9 upper in sidecharhing version, or to choose finish like fde or something

  • Everything, quality stuff
