It works...
I just wanted a hand stop. Nothing fancy, no barricade clamps or built in QD mounts, This fit the bill without costing $79.99. I have these on Troy, SLR, and Griffin, and they all fit perfectly. I use this in front of a Magpul AFG. I have big hands and long arms, and I habitually seek out the ver...

GUNTEC USA Micro Handstop
FIT: The M-LOK mounting interface on this handstop does NOT seem to be machined to spec. The handstop did NOT fit the M-LOK interface on my ALG Defense EMR V1 M-LOK handguard. The handstop could be attached to the handguard but it would not seat properly against the handguard within the M-LOK slots....

You Get What You Pay For
Bulky and robust. Serviceable finish, but nothing to write home about. My biggest complaint is that its so thick that your hand can't just slide forward on the rail until it hit's the stop. You have to purposely move your hand over the lip of it for your hand to rest against. Is it worth $20? Maybe, but there are options only a bit more expensive that are better. If you need a bandstop and are on a tight budget, this is an okay option.
Pros:
- Cheap
- works
- Not much better at this price point
Cons:
- Big
- Mediocre Finish
- thick
Best Used for:
- Stoping your hand
- Bracing against stuff
Would recommend: Yes
It’s a handstop- no more, no less
This is a very basic, inexpensive way to keep your fingers off of your barrel or suppressor on an SBR. I have 5 now and they fit on SLR, Troy, Griffin, Geissele, and ALG MLok rails. The finish is flat black, gritty and very durable. It reminds me of truck bed liner, which is a good thing. I could not care less if it “matches the finish of my handguard” or not. I believe that functionality should trump looks. As for the price, it’s the least expensive NOT PLASTIC” hand stop I have found. I am all about buying US made stuff, but comparable items on this site cost 2x - 5x more. It’s all I use on SBRs
Pros:
- Price
- Durability
- Function
Cons:
- Made in China
Best Used for:
- SBR and Suppressed
