Most Helpful Negative Review Not very good.
Pro's: Lightweight. Inexpensive. Made in the USA. Timing shims are provided (could be a con). Con's: Supplied wrench is worse than worthless. Their black color is more of a lighter bluish gray. Very little room for gas block. Wrench flats on barrel nut are too narrow for most crows foot wrenches. I can't really recommend this handguard unless cheap and light are your overriding criteria. I wasn't particularly impressed with the fit and finish when I pulled it out of the bag. When mounting, I found the supplied wrench to be worse than worthless. Don't Buy it!

The Key-Mod broke as I was attaching a flashlight holder. I did NOT over torque the attachment. The metal in between each Key-mod was made to thin. I had to
purchase another hand guard from a more reputable company.

Don't buy this

The key-Mod broke when I went to attach a flashlight - let me be clear - I DID NOT EXCEED THE TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS. I replaced this with a far superiorly constructed hand guard. When its at a cheep price, its a cheaply made product which will not hold up to a carbine class.

Lightweight and cheap. That's it.

It's lightweight and cheap for what you get. Build quality is there but not great. The included hardware and wrench is plain garbage, don't use them and go get quality replacements. My mounting hardware stripped immediately and was almost impossible to remove, I had to use pliers to remove them which in turn scraped the finish of the handguard.

Nice , works and affordable

I bought this rail because its made in america and is affordable. Its just going on a plinker varmint build so it wont really see any hard use. Overall all my keymod accesories fit with no issue. The only issue i have is with the barrel nut. Its made from aluminum and wasnt sure of its durability.

Guntec Ultra Slim Octagon 5 Sided Key Mod 15"

Price was good but the quality wasn't there. The tool for the barrel nut, worthless. And most disappointing was the rail is out of specs. It's about 1/16" lower than my upper receiver. I thought it was my upper and tried different rail with no issues. Save a little more money and buy a better quality rail.
