Good added security
The security cable is made very well. Installation seemed simple knock out a small metal hole in the safe with a nail punch. After about 15 minutes of hamering, not lightly, did the metal piece come out. Installation after that was a breese. A 2 minute job took 20 minutes. Good luck on not ratteling something loose like I did on my biometric safe.

Absolute Junk
This is one of those times when I bought something (because it was cheap) hoping that the reviewers were just being picky. Sad to say I was wrong.
For a company specializing in protecting your products, this cable is a joke. I honestly feel that a good pair of scissors would cut this cable and the punch out was also a pain. The actual connecting bolt and nut do not inspire much confidence either.
The only value this cable has is that it will prevent your kids from walking off with your safe. But a robber who is not in a rush will just laugh.

Simple, works as advertised
This is a perfectly good security cable for the GunVault products. However, it is a bit of a challenge to install because GunVault does not pre-drill the hole(s) where they recommend attaching the security cable. Thus, you have to drill the hole yourself and that was not easy to do. Of course, difficulty drilling thru a gun safe is a good thing. Despite the difficulty with installation I still recommend the product; good accessory to the GunVault.

It is a cool product and will do its job at deterring a thief without bolt cutters.
