Awesome item, must have with kids.
First off, I am so happy to of purchased this product and felt it was innovation at work.
I have children in the house and in my State, you are required to have your firearms locked up. Well I always hated using the wire locks through my Bushmaster because of concerns of scratches. I like my guns clean and scratch free if possible. The wirelocks will scratch your firearm.

Heavy use for over a year, still holding up
It seemed cheap out of the package, but it functions well. Key insertion and tumbler action are both much smoother than expected. Stays flush with the bottom of the magwell, so it's a great, discrete safety mechanism for storage if you use foam cases. Much better than cable or trigger locks, and you can even close the dust cover. Got mine in January 2019, I take it in and out I would guess at least once every two weeks or so for range or hunting trips, and this things barely shows signs of use apart from some carbon smudging from the bolt face.

I wish everyone I know had these for the ARS just a great way to carry it on a trip or just leaving at home gives me peace of mind knowing that my nephew can’t get to my stuff or his friends just is a great product highly recommended

GunVault AR MagVault Rifle Lock
This gun lock works great. First, it's bright orange so it's easily seen. If you leave the dustcover open, you can see that the gun is unloaded and locked. The BCG is visible just to the rear of the lock, so even if there was a round in the chamber, it is separated from the BCG by the lock. Because the BCG is pushed rearward into the buffer tube, it is very difficult to darn near impossible to separate the upper from the lower with the lock in place. All in all, great lock for your AR.

saw an ad for this item and check the price... right on. once I got it it does what it says. pull back the bolt and it's a perfect fit and your weapon is safe. Great at home or on the range and transporting.

I have only been using this product for a few weeks now but it seems to be working well. It fits well and functions perfectly. This is the first gun locking device I have bought. So I am no very knowledgeable on the pro and cons of devices like this but I did my research and I. Liked the way this product looked and was built.

Great product, Great Idea!!
Works so well and stores very neat. Never liked cable locking my AR but always do to keep it safe for my son. It's so easy to use and it even allows you to close the dust cover. Really hope this company can make these for hand guns?!?

GunVault MagVault Rifle Lock
I am very pleased with this lock. It works great, stays in place. With this lock in place you can't even release the upper on the pivot pin. I highly recommend this product. Well built and you cannot beat the price.

A must have
The bright orange color helps to identify the weapon is secure, it's easy to use, and durable. It sits completly inside the mag well so no worries snagging on something, scratching the firearm, nor could it be cut off like a cable lock. It doesn't allow the upper to be separated from the lower when inserted as an extra security benefit. It's a must have. I would recommend and purchase again.
