While this product is easy to set up and use it has some definite shortcomings.
If you need this to secure your firearm for transport, to satisfy a legal requirement, or from young children this is probably fine. If you have older kids, given time and the desire they might be able to defeat it.

Perfect for my needs
I had a safe from GunVault in the past, so I was familiar with the brand. The smaller model is exactly what I want. The keypad works more easily than my previous model, and the size is perfect for nightstand use or in a drawer. It also comes with a secure cable if you want to keep it under your car seat. I highly recommend this product if you are not looking for biometrics.

Zero care for their customers
I have 3 of these, there will not be a 4th. One of them failed today. I spoke with GV on the phone, and they will do nothing for me. No offer to repair, replace, or even sell me one at a discount. Just advised I go out and buy a new one. WTH GunVault? I'm a loyal customer and you treat me like chopped liver? I will buy a new gun safe, but I promise you I'll find out how your competition treats their customers.

Don’t bet your life on this.
I own two gun vaults both the mini vault and the top opening version. Also own a full size stack on fire safe and two gun desk version. Let me say the product quality varies dramatically. The top opener so far has been solid while the mini vault drops the code or runs out of batteries without warning. YOU CANNOT AFFORD TO BET YOUR LIFE ON IT. Get a StopBox. No batteries. Cannot fail. Also GunVaults customer service is HORRIBLE. Literally argumentative and take forever to respond. They will find a way not to help you and do so in a terse tone. Do better.

Love my micro vault
It’s the right size, structurally strong, and easy and fast to use. It also can be cable-tethered to a non-movable object. I really like this my micro vault. It’s size and shape makes it easy to store discreetly. I feel a sense of security using this safe for my conceal gun and I highly recommend it for consideration.

Microvault Portable Pistol Safe
I only have the safe for a while, but it meets everything I expected from it. It looks sturdy, the code works flawlessly. I have it for home use and travel. If he had the opening assistance in the form of a piston rod, it would be perfect.

It works for me
It works for my needs . I like to have these in different rooms and it's small enough not be in the way . Sturdy and basic ..but it fills all my needs and allows for a safe and secure place to store my firearms .

Portable and secure.
Took this camping over the 4th. Locked it inside my vehicle with my Glock inside and felt absolutely safe and secure. Only I know the combination and it is so compact that I could easily hide it behind the seat.

Peace of mind...
I bought this for my mom to store her sidearm when the grandchildren are visiting. programming the combination was a breeze and she was able to easily open the vault with the key and the combination panel. The cable seemed a little flimsy but to be fair I didn't try to cut it either. Great way to secure your sidearm at home or while traveling.
