Safe keeper - GunVault MicroVault XL Biometric Fingerprint Firearm Safe

This GunVault MVB1000 Biometric Safe is very rugged and built with high quality components. The security cable is a nice option to have when attaching it to a anchor point in your vehicle. Having dual entry options is nice to have for back-up purposes. The only difficultly I experienced was when I had to register my fingerprint with the biometic reader. The first time I registered it, it did not appear that my finger was flat, thus, it took me 3 to 4 fingerprint swipes to open the safe. When I re-registered for a 2nd time, I kept my finger flat through the entire process and now the MVB1000 opens up on the first swipe. One suggestion that I have if you intend to keep it close to your bed and in a locked position, make sure you store it in a position or same plane as the swiping action with your registered finger. If not, you may have to swipe it a few times to gain access and this may reduce your reaction time to establish a self-defensive position with your pistol or revolver. Great security safe.
