The safe will no longer open except with the key. I have been trying to contact Gun Vault about the issue for 2 months when I finally got a response all it said was "change the batteries" I already did that and it didn't help. Maybe they should read their own forums because they are filled with people with the same issue. The cable or wire to the lock breaks and you can no longer open the safe with the touch pad only the key. They also said "we sell no parts for our products" ALSO VERY CONVENIENT. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER ONE OF THEIR PRODUCTS. Horrible product and customer that matches.

What good is a shelf if it falls anytime you place an object on it? If I only wanted a single that's what I would have purchased. 2 stars because it's easy to mount, and use. Customer service from manufacturer was unsatisfactory. I don't care if is not in the warranty period. It was defective from day one. It just finally ticked me off enough to do a warranty request.

The GunVault Multi-Vault handgun safe is a great option for gun storage. It is very simple to use. Great for storing small gun accessories, ammo, and other important items. Does not include security cable but does have screws to bolt down in place

Fast delivery. The safe is as advertised. While not super thick or heavy, it'll stop the casual thief and prevent kids form getting their hands on your handguns. I like the 4 button key setup with the finger recesses over the ones with fingerprint readers. I don't have consistent results with the fingerprint readers on any of these safes.

Purchased this safe for a great price and it's a great bedside safe... however, be sure to check out the YouTube videos that show how easy it is to break into these safes. I would have given 5 stars if they would just get rid of the small holes at the top. No big deal, easy fix with a small metal disc and some JB weld.

The Gun Vault multi-vault is perfect for your handgun (or 2), and valuables including cash, jewelry and important papers. It is small enough to keep inside larger furniture such as an armoire or dresser. Access is easy once the owner gains familiarity with the key pad. While it could be carried by a thief, my view is that it is just heavy enough to limit that option. Optics Planet offered the best pricing I could find and delivery was fast and timely.

Excellent safe. Well-constructed with easy access. Great for home protection. The safe allows me to feel comfortable that an intruder will not be able to gain access to my fire arms while I'm away from home. I'm confident I'll be able to quickly access my fire arms for home defense should I need them in an emergency.

I wanted something foolproof, kid proof, and still doesn't get me killed if I ever have to use it in an emergency. I bought my first one 8 years ago and I love it so much that I bought another one for the office. if you want to lock something up, yet have it easily accessible, look no farther. Now that I think about it I bought my Dad one three years ago for his RV. They are great safe's, you won't regret it.

I would have given this safe a five star rating because of its utility. However, it has a design defect. The mini cable that connects the motors shaft with the latchs activating rod eventually breaks. The repeated twisting and pulling (due to frequent openings) fatigues the cable, leading to its breakage. One would think this defect defeats a main purpose of this safe which would be to allow daily openings. Mine lasted seven years (long enough??), which would amount to a cost of about twenty dollars a year, based on todays best prices. (A call to the company indicated they wont repair such out-of-warranty safes, at any price. Also, it was their over-the-phone diagnosis that led me to open the guts to observe the problem). An owner with good mechanical skills might consider jerry rigging a replacement cable. However, reconnecting the internal electronic ribbon (which lacks a secure connector) and reinstalling the close fitting metal encasement (in its cramped space) are additional obstacles to this approach. Ill be donating the safe as a key operated strong box.

This was the second one i purchased in about 30 days.I gave the first one to my daughter because it was 10 times better than what she had also I needed more storage to secure more than my firearm.Top of the line product every one should have one
