Great stock to replace my prs nrg stock to give it a hunting rifle look. - H-S Precision H-S Pro-Series PSV142 Howa 1500 Short Action Right Hand

Like I stated above, I replaced my NRG stock on my 6.5 Creedmoor Howa 1500 action with the 24 inch carbon wrapped barrel to give it more of a hunting rifle look. I sacrifice no accuracy or point of impact by changing this. Now about the stock itself. It's very ridgid and the fit to the action is good and tight. There was a little fiddling with putting the original floor plate back on from having the box magazine, but just be patient and squeeze the old metal mag well together when installing and you'll get it right. It did not require any trimming or special tools and I did not bed the action, at least not yet. It still shoots sub MOA at 200 yards and with more load development, I think it might do .750-.500. The surface of the stock has a nice non skid texture, which I like a lot. It's not a fancy looking stock, but I'm not a fancy guy. It's fit and function is perfect for my needs and I won't get jazzed by my son and friends for bring a PRS rifle hunting, but can still outshoot any one of them.
