I took a gamble on these boots based on some great reviews I found on other websites. I first ordered a size 12 (my normal size), but they felt like a vise clamp around my foot. This is odd for me as I have very narrow feet. I exchanged for a 12.5 and they also felt tight around my feet unless I wore the shoestrings very loose. The structure of the boot is very odd. Some parts are extremely rigid, like the back of the heel area and the lower outside of the boot. The heel area is so rigid, it rubs the back of my foot raw after wearing for only a few hours. Conversely, the inside area of the boot (side with the zipper) has no structure at all and my foot rolls in a little. I wore these for a few days thinking they just needed a little break-in, but I unfortunately discovered they are simply a horribly designed boot and I wasted a lot of money.
