Mounted this on a special purpose rifle; Remington 700P in .308. Overall it is a fine bipod. Easy to mount, stable and easy to employ. Adjustment is fast, stable, and solid. I have not had a problem with the notched leg length adjustment, but can easily foresee this being a problem that would alter the ability to keep the optic reticle properly aligned to the vertical in rough terrain. The stability; I see that as a curse and a blessing. It is a very stable bipod when deployed. But you can forget using a standard properly fitting rifle case. Because of the width it adds to the front of the rifle it simply will not fit unless you buy an extra long case. Thus, in practical terms either a "tactical rifle case" or a hard case (rectangular box) is mandated.
Pros: Solid, stable, easy to mount and employ
Cons: Notched legs, added width
