Poor Quality Control and Misleading
A- Be sure to COMPLETELY disassemble this and thoroughly clean out every nook and cranny, otherwise you will be pumping metal chips from the manufacturing process into your pressure chamber. Yes, they were in there after the filter.
B- This is not made of brass as implied by the image. The material type is conspicuously missing from the description - shame on me for assuming. Hatsan's own website doesn't list the material - all we have to go off is that nice picture.
After purchasing this I wouldn't even begin to consider buying an airgun from Hatsan, the experience has shown their products are poorly made and they aren't above misleading consumers.

High quality but needs attention to assembly of parts.
Just received this item today. The first thing I did was to test it for air leaks and I found that it leaked in two places. Upon closer examination, I found out that the female foster fitting was finger tight in two places and as well as being bent. I was able to apply Teflon tape and tighten the fitting which made it air-tight and decided not to try to straighten it out as I might bend it too much. I was surprised that closer attention had not been paid to parts assembly given how high quality the rest of the filter is. The lack of proper assembly is why I did not provide a higher rating. Once airtightness is achieved, it should function most adequately.
