Hawk lg-8 green laser sight installation - Hawk Gazer LG-8 Green Laser Sights

I attached this sight to my .40 Taurus G3C pistol and my S&W .30 Shield EZ with no problem. It did not fit my .30 S&W Shield Plus due to the lack of a rail on this pistol but I believe this is pointed out in the manufacturers application info. The dot from the sight is very bright in a household environment under any normal lighting conditions and distance. The dot is visible outside a house in bright daytime conditions and backdrops like trees but the dot is small at distances of 30 feet or so. The packaging information does not give the dot size. I think it is a good buy at the $43 that I paid and may buy another so that the Shield EZ has one too.
