"Dead Solid Perfect"
I bought this scope with the package on a Mission Crossbow. At the store the owner got me on paper and told me to go home and zero it at 20 yards and go from there using the hold over crosses. So here I go. I set the bow up on a solid rest to minimize error and fired the first arrow. It hit high and to the left about an inch and one half. Before I shot again I wanted to see what kind of group I could get but remembering that the store owner said not to shoot at the same "Bull" twice so I went and pulled out to bolt reloaded, and shot again. It went exactly in the same hole. Repeating the same...

Scope review
Nice scope but need to find a better way of shipping instead of mail service it took over a month to receive because they lost it like they do everything missed the first two week of bow season for this reason.

Better than expected
Performance is beyond expectations. Bolts are dead on in 10 yard increments. Very excited about the upcoming archery season. Was super easy to get it dialed in. Set the speed ring and the bolts are screaming along.
Pros:
- Precision
Cons:
- Filling the freezer!
Would recommend: Yes

So much better than the generic factory scope from Excalibur
To say that I'm very pleased with this product would be an understatement. It's performance far exceeds the generic, one size fits all, scope that came with my Excalibur GRZ II. This scope gives repeatable accuracy shot after shot, which wasn't the case with the factory issued glass. The Hawke is very clear from edge to edge, once I adjusted the ocular lens for my particular eyesight. The elevation and windage adjustments are precise, with nice audible clicks. The reticle is busy, but isn't so cluttered as to distract you while shooting. I can not attest to the attributes of the green/ red adjustable illuminated reticles as I have not used them while hunting and they weren't needed while dialing in my scope. The instruction manual was easily understandable and I was able to sight the scope in quickly. The flip-up lens covers were a nice bonus. The only con that I can find is that there isn't a lot of area for scope rings between the objective lens/turret/ ocular lens.
Pros:
- Repeatable accuracy
- reticle etched in glass
- Flip-up Lens Caps
- elevation and windage controls have a positive click
- Clear & bright optics
Cons:
- scope ring mounting area
Best Used for:
- hunting
- Target shooting

hawk scope
Good scope. It is not a adjustable scope like for a rifle. Goes by the speed
of crossbow. So the faster speeds it will be at the higher power. Find fps
it is fix at that power. So if you are like me and had a fix 4x scope wanted something lower power for shots closer do not buy if you had a fast bow. 340 be 3x 385 be 4x 425 be 5x. 250 be 1.5x 280 be 2x. Once sighted in for speed suppose to be sighted in to all yardage. I have to wait till snow melts to see.

Great upgrade
Good clarity and an upgrade over stock crossbow scope. The mill dots with yardage makers listed inside the scope take the guess work out of things and prevented picking the wrong mill dot for the particular yardage.

Hawke crossbow scope
Even though the scope says 1.5×5 power, you will not get the upper power unless your crossbow is super fast. Mine says that its 340fps, after I got sighted in my fps was 305. The power magnification goes by your bows fps. It is a really accurate way of sighting in your crossbow, I got a 3" group at 50 yards off the benchrest.
Pros:
- Clear, fog proof, water proo
- Clear, fog proof, water proof, lighted reticle
Cons:
- Even though it says 5 power, I only got 3 power, but it is still a very good scope for the money.

Excellent xbow scope
I zeroed the scope at 20 yards and matched the speed on the scope to my xbow and fine tuned it at 30 yards. After that all the aim points were pretty much spot on out to 70 yards. I didn’t try the 80-100 yard aim points since I don’t ever plan on shooting it much past 50 yards. The only improvement I could see for this scope would be to have someway of locking the zoom once you have it calibrated for your crossbow. I just put a small paint for where the reticle was calibrated for my setup at.
Pros:
- Clear glass & Reticle
Cons:
- Non locking speed adjustment
Would recommend: Yes
