Does excatly what it is supposed to.
Talked with Jes and he recommended this to use for getting the elevation I needed for my air rifle at long distance. None of my scopes had enough adjustment to without a lot of holdover. This was the answer. great product and great help from Hawke.

It's cheap plastic not aluminum as advertised
It's made from cheap Chinese plastic not aluminum as stated in their description. It's not just misleading, it's a lie. I don't know about their function because they may work perfectly fine but for such a tiny little shim at $20 I was expecting more than a thin piece of plastic that I could have ma...

Great for airguns and rimfires
They provide a simple way to add elevation to your setup. Be aware that one shim goes under your scope at each mount but none above. I assume that using a heavy hand when tightening your rings will end up denting your scope under the high edge. I had bought 2 sets to mount 1 scope but found that using a top and bottom wedge was not feasible when I mounted mine. Maybe if I had sourced longer screws... For that reason I wouldnt recommend it for heavy kicking guns, even though they are doing exactly what I need done on my Walther Parrus.
Pros:
- Simple, use with any ring setup
Cons:
- Not for all guns
Best Used for:
- Rimfires, compensating for barrel droop on airgins
- Long range rimfire rifles, compensating for airgun barrel droop
Would recommend: Yes
