Not for magnum airguns!
I made five shots with this scope and the reticle broke free and spun left. Now left to deal with HawkeOptics since OpticsPlanet won't accept "used or broke" item for return.
Really liked the scope, good glass, nice appearance, seemed well made...externally anyway.

Hawke Airmax wont hold accuracy
ok as a general purpose low cost scope.
will not suit people looking for outright accuracy such as target shooting.
Image not very sharp at the edges at 12x.
Pros: low cost, good build quality
Cons: Poor repeatability when reaching upper half of adjustment on elevation/windage
