Was looking for a “budget” long range scope. The Hawke company US headquarters is local to me so I decided to give them a try. Got first sidewinder scope and compared to my NF scope and was surprised to see how much clarity and detail the hawke has in similarity to the NF scopes. Mind you the NF was $1000 more. So took it out to my long range spot and put few down on a 7mm rem mag and so far after a year of shooting it is holding up. I even tried it on my AR DMR and it works great. Actually I liked it so much I bought 4 more, before the word gets out on this great “budget” scope.
Pros:
- value
- Clarity & construction
Best Used for:
- Bench and long range shooting

.Very good value for money. Riflescope bright and well modulated. Up to 25x impressive sharpness. Overall sturdy and heavy. I would have preferred not illuminated reticle. Very accurate and beautiful on my 223 rem. I think make a good job buy it

This scope is nice but a mixed bag. It's large, long and heavy, but 56mm objective is bright. Needs high rings on many rifles. This scope is sharp to 24x or a bit more but at 32 is slightly soft. Not significantly worse than many other mid range scopes though.
If using to range for FT, it has a nice 4" sidewheel with an included pointer, but the pointer is black and hard to see. The angular space between yardages on the sidewheel is less than my AEON or Mueller but the target seems to snap to focus a bit better.
The reticle is basically aweseome, not too busy and quite fine. It illuminates nicely too if you feel that is valuable.
The box it comes in is kind of awesome, but I'd prefer it come in a more pedestrian cardboard box like others and save some $$ or get some nice rings with it.
Locking eyepiece is a big plus. Turrets are solid, and clicks are easily found and heard. They are zero reset and lockable.
At $500 I feel it's too costly and prefer my Mueller, but the Mueller does not have the reticle. If you can get it at a discount, it's an excellent scope.
Pros: Nice thin reticle, illuminated, includes sidewheel, nice turrets, includes pointer for sidewheel, lockable eyepiece, lens covers, awesome carry box
Cons: Heavy, long, expensive, range pointer in black hard to see, not super sharp at 32x, does not have large angular sidwheel diplacement while ranging,

8 whitetails dropped instantly with head shots from me, and 4 others from colleagues that borrowed my rifle over a 2 year period in 3 states. Ranges were from 150 to 375 yds with the scope set on the max 32 power setting. Once the ballistics are confirmed at the range with chronograph data the killing is guaranteed!
Pros: extreme accuracy
Cons: learning the SR 12 ballistics

I am using this scope on my AirArms S510 carbine. It performs very well at all shooting distances.
Pros: Strong 32 X magnification
Cons: Soft focus at full magification
