Bad mill dots - Hawke Sport Optics Vantage 4-12x40mm Rifle Scope, 1in Tube, Second Focal Plane (SFP)

I purchased for a long range AR-15 build. Appears to be a great scope otherwise. I could see a fly on a leaf at 200yrds clearly. The mill-dots how ever are very hard to see and not much help at longer ranges. I probably use it on another rifle, And buy something better for the build.
