Good To Go!

by Jeremy Hoggatt, Verified Owner from AZ, United States Written on April 1, 2019
Have had this pack for about a year now, and it has performed as advertized. I use it for daily EDC gear/rangebag/and general outings with my little one.Usual contents include IFAK,Beofeng radio, flashlight, leatherman, folding knife,pen/sharpie,snacks,spare mag, water bladder, shemagh, shades, charger, and any other essentials for adventures in the city. Bag has held up like a champ, with no failures in the stitching, fabric,or hardware. Any loose threads that show up over time just get singed, and velcro shows no signs of wear n tear. Very comfortable, even filled with range gear and ammo. Rotating pack to reach gear is easy and convenient(added extended paracord to zippers to aid in faster access under pressure)Previously had purchased the "tactical" plan b in black for a coworkers photography gear and was very impressed with the quality. Couple months later, saw the civi-lab version for $68.99 and had to have it!5 STARS
Pros:
  • Well made, quality pack. Low profile, yet very capable.
Cons:
  • I kinda miss having molle options, wich means I'll end up buying the tactical version!(kinda pro?)

Good minimalist bag

by RG, from CO, United States Written on May 21, 2018
I bought this bad to carry a first aid kit and allergy kit to have on hand for my children. It works perfect for this purpose. A Condor quick detach IFAK fits perfectly in the bottom. Then I placed my sons allergy kit above the Condor IFAK. For the allergy kit I used the Lightning X premium Drop Front IFAK. The Plan B holds both these IFAKs perfectly. I also bought an extra set of dividers. They are nice to have but not everyone will need them. The bag is nice but it’s unique shape warrants attention. People focus in on me wondering what kind of bag it is and what it’s for. Also, people I know have asked me just that. This being said it is a grey man bag that is not very grey man. I would call it a subtle but unique minimalist bag. If you want to be a grey man use a traditional looking/shaped bag. Top outside pouch could be bigger. Outside pocket flap needs some hook and loop or pockets.
Pros:
  • Good Quality fits my needs. Easy to carry and maneuver in vehicle. Fits nicely inside an empty file drawer
Cons:
  • Unique size and shape. This is both a pro and con.
Best Used for:
  • IFAKs and a maller items for minimalist approach
