One of the best carbon fibers on the market
This barrel will upgrade your ar-15 into a new world of accuracy. It is about eleven ounces lighter than a normal pencil profile non carbon fiber. When installing this, I was fearful to torque it up as it is so light but I went through the normal steps and had no issues.
I have over a thousand rounds through this barrel and it holds dead on accuracy using my 4.5x20 scope at 500 yards, and am keeping my grouping as tight as to being about to cover it right on the bullseye mark with a dime.
I purchased my barrel not from optics planet and paid more, so I would have had a better deal from optics planet. But no matter what, this is the very best barrel in my opinion that you can purchase.

Better Than Expected
The wife purchased this barrel for me for fathers day. I was pretty hesitant after seeing what she paid but decided to keep it. Luckily I did because this barrel is awesome! I've had two of my best ever group shooting days and my 13 year old son hit bulls at 500yrds! Installation on my davidson build was was easy.
