Most Helpful Negative Review BlackHank Knee pad
Velcro strap are much too short. Very difficult to get around your trouser pant leg. Especailly if your in a hurry. Have used the Galls brand before but bought the BlackHank thinking that they had to be better. There not! Pros: Velcro straps too short Cons: Good padding protection

BlackHawk Hell Storm Neoprene Knee Pad, Black 809100BK

by Legacy Reviewer, Written on September 11, 2013
Overall, very good product, though larger than I'd expected. In order to make them stay in place, if you plan on moving in them, I'd suggest sewing a few strips of velcro on the sides of the pants you're planning on using. If you want to be able to run in them it's a necessity.
Pros: Anti slip texture on exterior of pads; adjustable velcro for fit
Cons: Pads move out of place without modification

Used for only 3 hours in light tactical training withonly 1 hour shooting from knee. Flat ground with grass and small gravel. The area to either side of the contact pad was torn in several places after minimal use. This pad wouldnt last a week in any real tactical application.
Pros: Easy on and off, relatively comfortable
Cons: Not durable
Would recommend: No

soft front knee pads

by Tim, Verified Owner from ID, United States Written on April 20, 2013
I like these better than kneepads with the hard shell on the outside. When I drop to my knees with these, the "landing" is softer and more cushy than with the hard shell pads. They are also far quieter than the hard shell pads when my knees hit the ground.
Pros: softer, quieter

I truly like all about these knee pads except for the short velcro strap. That is my only disappoint. Otherwise, will more than provide protection and comfort.
Pros: work well and durable
Cons: top velcro strap way to short to connect properly

Supreme!

These pads are outstanding. Look great, are extremely comfortable, and provide more than enough padding for hard falls or taking a knee. Protects against slippage and are some of the best quality pads on the market! For the price, you're not going to find better.
Pros: Quality, comfort, and looks
Cons: None!
