Most Helpful Positive Review This comp is noice!
This comp from Herrington Arms is fantastic! Reduces felt recoil and gets my dot back on target quicker! Tamed the snappiness just enough. Definitely get that blue loctite on the threads of the set screws. I wasnt ready to commit at first and ran it just torqued down and it came loose at the range. Commit, its worth it.

Works great with my p365 xl. Fast shipping, fit right on(be careful with the set screw, don't lose the, they're tiny), runs great.

Worked beautifully for turning my p365 into an xmacro comp

by Zach, from TX, United States Written on April 15, 2025
After some research I decided this particular comp with only the two ports on top was going to give me the best reliability compared to their other comp which has ports on the side and top, which sometimes required the use of a weaker recoil spring to function the gun reliably . I also do not like the idea of side ports in case I have to use the gun near my face in a close quarters self defense situation. I ordered a true precision threaded barrel for the p365 and this comp installed beautifully onto that and sits flush against my stock p365 slide. This slide assembly was then installed onto an xmacro grip module and the completed assembly looks almost factory made and is very aesthetically pleasing. The comp sits perfectly inside of the picatinny dust cover of the xmacro grip module and acts as a natural anti-rotation. I did use blue loctite on the threads and set screws, just like any tiny screw don’t over tighten them or you will strip the socket, tighten until they stop turning then maybe 1/8 turn more. Let the loctite cure for a few days before shooting and the comp will be rock solid. If you’re using this with a p365 or XL grip module you’ll want to be careful to not overheat the comp as this will loosen the threadlock and the dust cover does not extend far enough to prevent rotation of the comp. So I suggest buying an xmacro grip module in collaboration. If you want to maintain use of your existing magazines, Mirzon manufactures xmacro grip modules that have an XL len...

Compensator

by Curt, Verified Owner from IN, United States Written on October 1, 2024
Works flawlessly. Amazing compensator. My Sig shoots extremely flat now. Took me a few rounds to adjust and once I did, it sped up my shooting because I could find the target that much faster.

Excellent Comp

by Tmac, Verified Owner from AZ, United States Written on September 7, 2024
I added this to my P365 to make it easier for my wife to shoot. Worked like a charm! What I didn't expect is how much faster follow up shots are with the comp.
Pros:
  • Need a new holster there aren't a ton of open muzzle holsters for P 365's.
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Any kind of shooting but it is fire on the range.

easy install

I paired my comp with a true precision threaded barrel and it worked great. I would recommend using threadlocker, not the high strength, or you will have tge hardest time getting that comp off.

The allen key that came with the comp was good at first but it started to wear out. This could be user error or just a cheap allen key.

Other than that great price and quality.

Herrington P365 Comp

by Jon D, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on April 10, 2024
This is probably the best comp on the market, far superior to Sig factory “comp” guns… my only complaint is the fact Optics Planet utilizes DHL for shipping. Every single order I’ve ever gotten from them has been atleast several days late or more from the original arrival date. Worst transport service ever.
