Most Helpful Positive Review Quality Comp
I’ll start by saying it DOES WORK as intended, but is it worth the price tag? Not so much in my opinion, but I’m not saying this because of the quality or function of it, because it does for sure tame the snappy hellcat. So here’s why i say this, I’ve tried this comp and also the Strike Industries Micro QUAD comp on the same hellcat with the same exact setup and ammo and i honestly think the Strike Industries Micro QUAD comp provided a little less felt recoil and i acquired/stayed on target a bit more than with the Herrington Arms comp after shooting a continuous 5 round group. only stay as tight for one shot with LoctitE!

The compensator looks amazing. Makes the gun look even cooler however you fire one shot and you have to re-tighten the two set screws on the side even though you’ve used a lock tide on them so I’m gonna say if you have to re-tighten your compensator after every shot it’s garbage and $100 paperweight so thanks for nothing!
Sidenote, it messed up the striker spring in my pistol so I’ll have to be replacing that now because it came loose when I went to fire a second round .

Pretty cool head on. Definitely makes the help just a little less snappy. I do like the overall look with it on the hotel hotel with an extended mag for better grip.

  • Tones down recoil
  • adds a great look
Cons:
  • Limits my holster options
  • added length makes apex carry more uncomfortable
Best Used for:
  • When practicing comp style shooting

it's a great fit for the Hellcat. It brought back the fun of shooting the weapon. Get back on target fast. Along with the 3 spring kit, it tames the Hellcats recoil dramatically.
