Manpack for FT-857D
Great fit for FT-857D HF radio. Build seems robust with accommodating fittings for shoulder straps/molle. Haven’t done much operating in the wild yet, but hope to add this to my prep kit for overlanding and off-road adventures. I believe this is a good product that will last. With this, there is some seemingly excess room when the radio is inserted, but will plan to add the FC-30 tuner with the radio and all connection cabling. Not sure it would also accommodate a sufficient length of coax, particularly RG58. Hopeful that this pack is robust enough to handle the added weight.
