Simple product and good value
After looking for a quality, made in the USA and budget friendly plate carrier the core was about the only option I could find. Nice MOLLE, decent shoulder and side straps. I wear a 50 regular jacket and usually an XL or XXL t-shirt depending on the cut and this fit but about one third of the shoulder strap is strap only, no padding so I will look for something to add. Also installed a single curve ceramic / poly plate that seems to be popular right now, with a thickness of 0.78 inches, they were snug to install, a thicker plate or plate with pad would be a struggle. Sizing is off
Sizing does not seem to be accurate or I received a carrier with the wrong tag. Ordered a large for large sapi plates after reviewing the sizing chart from HSGI’s website in case there was anything specific to this carrier. When the carrier came in it looked tiny and the large sapi plate was not going to fit without breaking at the seams of the plate bag. I measured the width at the bottom of the plate bag and it was just over 9.5”. So I either received a medium with large tags or their sizing doesn’t match sapi sizes. I also have some question about long term durability of the shoulder straps, even though I spent a brief time with this carrier before returning it and losing money on return shipping, the straps did not instill a lot of confidence in me. At this price point, especially msrp, there’s plenty of better options. Avoid this one.

Solid, good size for a larger bosy without being cumbersome.
For anyone whose trying to figure out the size of this - Im 6' tall and 230 pounds. In shirts I am sometimes a Large and sometimes XL, it depends on the shirt.
It fits and carries well like the smaller more "Tatical" style plate carriers.
I took off one star because the side straps seems a bit thin, I dont know how it will do in the long run, and the plastic buckles are pretty small for a big hand, even without a glove on. I would have liked to see larger hook and loop pads.
My plates fit inside easily and it carries the gear weight well and is pretty easy to adjust.
