The belt itself is typical HSGI quality.. Just a few things to keep in mind. First,this is single ply nylon webbing while many "tactical" cobra belts are two ply.Meaning this has the same stiffness as a 1" double ply cobra belt or 66% the stiffness of a 1.5" cobra tactical/ccw belt..
The next thing to pay attention to is the sizing. The medium measured about 50" OAL. I wear a "34" pant,measured my waist circumference at 39" meaning I had 11" of overlap. Not the end of the world but something to keep in mind.
FWIW:I'm using it in combination with the HSGI inner belt pad(size XL) and it's stiff enough to hold service pistol(glock 19),3 spare mags,flashlight,micro trauma kit,OC spray and cuffs.
