Coodevale's Review of HIPERFIRE HIPERTOUCH 24 Competition AR Fire-Control Group w/Straight Trigger, 2.5/3.5lb Pull Weight

Trigger has discernable creep and noticeable over travel. Reset isn't particularly short. The coil spring fork resting on the safety puts a lot of pressure on it and it's wearing the safety hole in the lower. Installation was fairly straightforward, instructions were clear but mostly ignored and unnecessary. The included slave pin was nice but an anti rotation pin would have been a nice addition. Compared to other triggers I have it's not great, especially for the cost. CMC and Rise do better on creep, over travel, and reset. Jard has about the same creep and reset of the Rise and CMC but it has a set trigger option that makes it worth the extra $. I might try the ECL version for a rimfire project out of curiosity regarding the dual coils potentially reducing port pop but so far this might be the only hiperfire trigger I buy. I'm just not confident it's worth the price on anything but a 7.62 steel range blaster at this point.
Pros:
  • it looks cool
Cons:
  • No anti rotation pin
Best Used for:
  • Range toy blasters
