Hi Viz H3 sights for Sig P365
Had high hopes for this sight, it did not turn out that way. Acquiring the exact sight alignment is required and can’t be done quickly. Also under low light conditions it is hard to see sights. I’m going back to a 3 dot system. This turned out to be a waste of money.

Fastdot for Sig Sauer P320 Compact
The Fastdot is a welcome alternative to conventional sights and Red Dots.
Out of the package, the sights were too tight and required careful honing with a knife sharpening stone to shave small amounts of material off the base. I originally started with emery cloth but progress was very slow, so I switched to sharpening stones, which was faster and more controlled. I'd make 10 passes with the stone, flip the sight 180-degrees, and make 10 more passes. Then, I'd clean the debris off the sight, apply a small drop of gun oil, and hand-press it onto the barrel to ensure it could go about 1/3 of the way without much effort. Once I thought it was good, I used a sight press tool, which worked well.
I have not taken the new setup to the range yet, but I've been dry-firing it daily with a laser bullet setup. Aligning the rear green sight with the front red sight is fast, intuitive, and easy on my older eyes that have astigmatism, tracking, and divergence issues.
Overall, I like this unique sighting system so far, but time on the range will be the real judge.
