Most Helpful Positive Review Help for aging eyes
Makes a huge difference in acquiring the front sight. The orange and green inserts really help( in that order). The white not so much. Simple installation - good video on YouTube. Clamp sight and drill (1/16")from both sides.

Hiviz F iber Optic Front Sight

I recently installed Hiviz Fiber Optic Front sights on three Ruger pistols. The sights are very easy to install and very well made. I do have knowledge of machining so drilling and slight filing to fit was necessary. For me it was a cinch. A shooters eye will acquisition this sight very fast which makes it highly desirable. I am waiting for the rear sights to be available and back in stock as the pistols are of 1980's. At that time I will be purchasing the rear Hiviz adjustable sights for the same three pistols to install. I am anxiously awaiting the availability of these excellent sights. They will be installed on Ruger P series semi auto pistols. I can only thank the people at Hiviz for making such excellent sights. Thank you Hiviz!

New life for old Ruger

This sight made a huge difference for a 30 year old Ruger SP101! As I have aged I have been transitioning the sights on just about all of my handguns to sights that offer more contrast/distinction, just part of the "any help we can get" process. I have used a variety of tritium sights and to varying degrees they all are good, with some better than others but they all have helped improve the shooting experience. I believe the HiViz fibre optic front sight offers the best sight or pardon the pun, "best bang for your buck", as a contrasting front sight over tritium sights, as in daylight use they really "pop" with contrast, a big boon for tired eyes. They offer no advantage to tritium in low or no light but that is what a flashlight is for and as a bonus, beside the cost, they don't have a shelf life.
