I really like this sight when the correct model is found for gun one has
Pros: Great visibility , easy target acusition and terrific in low light
Cons: Can blow off when placed near ports on ported barrel

Plain Barrel Snap On
There was nothing in the item description that said the sight would not stay in place on a Model 11 barrel which recoils back into the receiver when fired. I complained to HiViz and they told me to fix it with two-sided tape. I would have expected a refund rather than a "Mississippi Magic" suggested...

HIVIZ Magnetic Shotgun Sight
Been using these sights for many years on my shotguns and i lost one.Bought this one and i am really pleased with these new ones.They are better than the old ones because they have a orange dot in the center in which makes finding your target better.

HiViz shotgun sight
The Red Sight was bright and clear. The length does not work well with my porting, its long enough to reach the first two holes. I believe it would not work long without burning. But on a regular vent rib its Good. Stayed on no problems.

HiViz Magnetic Shotgun Sight
Have several of these sights. Cost effective. Only downside is they can get knocked off when putting your gun in a floating gun case. Solution: use a high grade silicone that bonds well to metals and affix the site to your gun.

Helpful for Shooting
The HiViz magnetic sight is easily seen and focuses your vision at the end of your barrel. It allows you to follow a moving object an have an excellent sight plane. It helps my shooting considerably. I am 60 this is great for older eyes and shooting more consistently.

Surprisingly simple solution!
This is a great idea, economical, functional and easy to use. Need a front sight upgrade to my Mossberg and I accidentally got the version for a .22! However it worked out, because I use a UTG rail the front sight would be too short otherwise, the 22 version rides “high” on the rails just the right amount. Using a little lock tite to help the magnet. Works great! Gonna get another one for my Winchester defender

Very nicely made magnetic hi-vis sight for shotguns. I would use this if I had a shotgun with a ventilated rib that came with the standard red metal bead at end of barrel. Those beads do not improve visibility, which helps to pick up the target quicker. Works well. This product seems to be on there very well with the strong magnet. Improves vis down barrels considerably. A Must Have!

Unstable and Unusable
The instructions are simple enough to follow ... and then I realized that they're simple because there's nothing to do - the darn thing slips all over the barrel (unless you never fire the weapon, in which case it works great).

HiVis M400 magnetic shotgun sight
In my case, I have a ported barrel. When I fired the shotgun with the magnetic sight above the ports, the pressure from the ports broke off a piece along the edge of the barrel ramp that holds the sight in line with the barrel. This caused the sight to shift a little sideways and I had to adjust it after each shot at a trap range. I like the features and advantages of the device so much that I removed the original front sight and attached the magnetic sight at the end of the barrel, beyond the porting, using a few dabs of five minute epoxy to make sure that the sight doesn't shift. The magnetic sight stands out like a light at the end of the barrel. It's great!!!
