Sight is easier to see due to green color and tritium helps in low light conditions. My biggest issue is that the blade width is 0.155 inches compared to the standard 0.125 inch width of the stock SW font sight. Great option for 627 pro
Snagged it on sale. Not many tritium options for dx style s&w. It isnt the brightest tritium I have but it is pretty good. .25" is the right size for s&w 627 pro. Easiest sight change removal and install ever. Less than a minute and no tools. Youtube s&w dx sight change. If I could make 2 change, I would like an orange ring around it for daytime shooting and it to be a bit brighter tritium glow at night.

Correct sight for S&W M&P R8 Perf. Center
These are very bright in sunlight. Don't understand why an expensive Perf. Center revolver doesn't already come with something like this from the factory. There are 3 different height options for this sight. The one that matches the R8 is part number SWN3002. Good illumination in the dark. Not as bright as sights that are just the tritium, but those sights don't perform as well in daylight conditions. Makes sense as these just have a ring of tritium. You'll want more of these sights once you try one and take gun to the range.

Great sight. I’ve tried more than a few sights on my S&W Revolver with no luck , just having a lot of trouble picking up the front sight quickly. This HiViz sight is awesome!! Fast sight pickup great quality. Looking to purchase another for my S&W 29-6 Classic.

HiViz S&W DX Litewave H3 Interchangeable Front Sight
An easy to replace front sight for a S&W revolver. The front sight offers both Tridium and fiber optic glow. During the day the front sight is easy to see! At night or in low visibility, the tridium has a very nice glow that is easy to focus on and find your target.
Pros:
- Great glow!! Easy to aim with. 3 different sizes to order from.
Cons:
- A little hard to install. Have to grip and slide in with a little muscle.
Best Used for:
- S&W revolvers with DX front sights.
