Best Tacks Ever Made!
I’ve tried a bunch of different tacks for marking my trails, and have finally found the only one that I will purchase in the future. You can spot these easily in the dark, and even pick them up in daylight…

Great reflective tacks
Orange stands out great at night. Not many hunters use this color so it helps separate from others. Public land hunting that makes a difference.tacks are also durable once in the tree unlike other reflective materials

HOW NOT TO GET ONES BLANK LOST
Ever been turned around in the woods while out hunting. Wandering around and or canoeing around. Can you say not Lost in Space but YOUR Blank is Lost in the Woods! Been there done that. And I have a GPS and a Compass but being me I still sometimes get "turned around". So to NOT do that I believe in back up's. I hunt alot on Federal and State Mgt areas. Most hunters who use the old Bright Eyes or Reflective Tacks use WHITE. I started years ago using Orange....Both sides of my in and out path every so often a tree has one on each side. I can see the Orange in the daytime slipping in and out to my stand locations. And at night one hit with Green or White light and my AIRPORT run way is Lit up. No mistaking no confusion vs. old left over white ones from other hunters. It simply works. I take them out at end of hunt.
Pros:
- Find way in and out day or nite (with green or white light). Not costly, works and definitely better than being lost.
Cons:
- They rust and lose color eventually after several seasons.
Best Used for:
- Walking and sight aid to and from stand while hunting.
- Waling and sight aid to and from stand while hunting
