These stocks are great, one thing to remember when ordering is there are two sizes, Mil spec 1.15 and Commercial 1.17, you can use commercial on mil spec but not the other way. This thing is garbage
I do like the rubber feel of this buttstock. However, it is way too tight on the buffer tube. It doesn’t slide freely like one should. I have sanded it down and oiled but it is still too tight. It’s going in the trash when I receive the one I just ordered.

Better than Magpul
I use this stock on all my AR builds. Nice that they have specific models for mil spec or commercial buffer tubes. Fit has been great for me. People that complain are trying to use a mil spec stock on a commercial tube. Their grip is nice too.

Hogue AR15 overmolded buttstock
The over molding worked out great eliminating the riddle and a improved follow through placement

Hogue AR-15/M-16 Overmolded Collapsible Buttstock
Quality product (never had an issue with Hogue). The over-molding is nice (especially on the butt pad) but not excessive. The adjustment lever is easy to operate, and you do not have to tear off your nails or bleed the tips of your fingers to remove the stock from the buffer tube. Looks good, feels good.
Pros:
- High quality. Good cushion. Looks good.
Cons:
- I wish the cheek rest was a bit more pronounced/flared out.

- An AR15 commercial stock

Hogue Buttstock Is Perfect Addition to My Build
Not a lot to say, it’s a Hogue product after all! Fit is great, very little play and still easily adjustable! Looks awesome on my AR build and it’s the perfect last addition to finish the job. Its design also encloses the adjustment lever, which the majority of other manufacturers can’t say! Another excellent Hogue product!

This is the one!
Had an older build with a commercial spec tube. The existing stock was super old and unpadded. Did not want to spend a fortune for this upgrade and was lucky tp have stumbled upon this part. Went on easily and fits like a glove. Couldn't have been happier with this inexpensive buttstock upgrade!

I purchased this commercial spec buttstock for a VR-80 12 GA shotgun upgrade. I purchased it alongside a Hogue rubberized grip. The combo works great for providing comfort, even when shooting for hours.

Im a huge fan of this stock for many resons. Its well built, durable, good fitment on mil spec buffer tube. Alot of stocks are loose and rattle, this one is pretty solid. The QD mounts offer versatility on your rig as well. You cant go wrong with this purchase.
