The Hogue stock was a perfect fit for me. Whether shooting off the bench or turtles in the pond the design of this stock works. Lightweight fits into my shoulder and cheek as it should. Best of all it fit my 10/22 receiver and Kidd barrel with no modifications.

I purchased this stock to keep from beating up my custom walnut stock that I had made for my polished stainless 10/22. I was afraid to take it out for fear of a gouge or abrasion. Now, I fitted the Hogue OD stock to the barrel and it fits 100%, looks great, economical, and durably made so no more fear for everyday use.

I turned my stardard Ruger 10/22 into a tack driver and kept the cost under $1K. Items include the following:
KIDD light weight 16"barrel, KIDD bolt assembly, Ruger BX trigger, Leupold rail and rings, Vortex Crossfire II 3x9x40 scope, Harris bipod (which I already had), and the Houge overmolded stock.
I was pleased the stock is actually floating as I can easily slide a piece of paper between the .920" barrel and stock. I like the feel and price of the stock too! This is just a fun gun for target shooting. Off a bench it will shoot 1/2" groups at 50 yards with standard CCI ammo. Lastly, the stock looks good and is durable. I would recommend this stock for anyone doing a budget 10/22 build.

This stock has a look and feel that is way greater than the factory one! It works great with the Bull barrel I added. I have since replaced all of my rifle and shotgun stocks with Hogue's stocks. Great product!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love these stocks!! This is my second 10/22 build and I will always use a hogue stock they feel great and have sling points on them. The bull barrel fits great. They make stocks for the standard barrel also.

I considered getting a fancy wood stock for my 10-22 build. However, I opted for the Hogue heavy barrel stock on OD Green. I am very pleased with the Hogue and would definitely recommend it. It fit very well and has a great feel to it. I also think it looks great.

Received this a while back, still waiting for a barrel to put this all together. This stock is of super good quality. I got the olive drab color and it really stands out without being flashy. Very nice construcion and feels great in my hands. Nice job!

When I installed this stock, I was impressed with the tacky surface. When carrying it out in the Florida brush, my hands never feel like they are going to slip. I always get firm non-slip contact even with my cheek-weld on the hottest days.

The only reason I didn't give it 4 stars is because the very front left of the stock was in contact with the barrel. I had to take a piece of 3/4" PVC and some 220 grit sandpaper to work the channel in that area so that the barrel would be totally free floating.

I would recommend this stock to anyone wanting to make an improvement to their factory stock. The stock does seems as though it may have a little flex, so if you are looking for the ultimate BR stock you may want to try something different. If you want a stock that will improve the looks and feel over a factory stock (especially the synthetic stocks) then look no further.
