Upon opening the packaging, I was initially disappointed. The set I purchased was ghillie green but only the lower handgaurd and pistol grip were that color and overmoulded. The top rail was plain black plastic. Rather than go to the trouble of sending it back I decided to fit it anyway. Once fitted I wasn delighted. It looks and feels the part. The upper handrail is better fit than I first though. I am glad that is was black and a good decision by hogue. The fitting was not hard. About 30 mins with 201mins being that upper handgaurd. Do a YouTube on its removal and its not hard. All in all no complaints. Its been a great upgrade to my AK.
